The Experiential News Library is a space that offers a physical, experiential news broadcast, acting as a new, innovative and modern way for the general public to receive their news intake. Instead of books, the News Library uses multiple experiential installations representative of current affairs happening right now. Users can move freely between each installation to educate themselves and broaden their understanding and knowledge on complex current world affairs.

The scheme aims to tackle the communication breakdowns the digital age has brought to our society, as it uses experiential learning and juxtaposing environments to provide tangible understanding on complex subjects to users. It focuses on a dialogue between the old and the new, encouraging classical methods of team work, communication, and sharing to enhance human interaction - something that is lost in our modern digital age.

It’s unique selling point boasts an unbiased news broadcast, all in one place. It explicitly shows the two sides of the argument for each story it covers, distinguishing between the two by placing them on either side of the central draw bridge that is situated between the two buildings. The scheme plays on this symbolically through its transparency in structure.
